Machine art (part 2)

Ok now, looks as if we have a series. I posted part 1 way back in June 2011. Today I received 3 wonderful links to Make's blog from my friend Robin. I just had to pass them along.

I'll start with my favorite. It's Rocking Knit and it's a rocking-powered knitting machine by Damien Ludi and Colin Peillex. It's a lot more fun to watch than to have me explain. Also, I think I want one!

Follow these links to view a  sock knitting machine powered by the breath of the operator and another machine powered by a windmill. (Could the latter be a bit of a throwback to an earlier era?)
